FLCL's drawing style is slightly different from other anime, but then again the entire show is like that. This drawing represents a huge step up for me: the lines are drawn with more confidence, and it just looks clearl better than all the pictures before it.
At this point I started inking using vellum tracing paper rather than right on the paper I penciled on. It makes scanning certainly much smoother.
