I was really quite proud of this drawing when I drew it, I believe the winter of 2001/02. I copied this off of a screen shot from Kenshin - the picture of course being Saitoh Hajime from Rurouni Kenshin doing his fabulous Gatotsu. I was pleased with how the front arm and hand came out, as well as the shiny effect I did with the sword in Photoshop. I started doing a lot of copies from here on in, probably because I was so pleased with this one.
This is also one of those images that people seem to come across using Google Image Search. I know at least one person has used it as an avatar on some forum, which pleases me greatly.
